The “laptop lifestyle” sold on social media usually looks like infinity pools, beach clubs, and perfectly styled cafés.

Mine?

Sometimes it’s a toilet.

Not because I’m trying to be quirky. Because I’m a mom. I travel constantly. My son is sleeping nearby. Hotels don’t always have separate rooms or even desks. Airports are loud. Client calls still need to happen.

So yes… I’ve run strategy sessions from more bathrooms than I’d like to admit.

The goal was never to build a business that looked impressive online.

The goal was to build one that worked in real life.

One that lets me keep commitments, earn an income, travel with my son, and adapt when plans change.

The view isn’t always Instagram-worthy.

The freedom is.
